Job Description

Our client in the Milford, CT area is in immediate need of a temp Accounting Assistant with experience in processing vendor invoices, ensuring proper general ledger allocation, and reconciling vendor statements. The ideal candidate will be adept in resolving discrepancies, coordinating weekly AP check runs, and maintaining vendor records. Additional responsibilities include processing credit applications, managing expense reports, and assisting with reconciliations, reporting, and year-end file rotations. shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure proper general ledger allocation.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and address aged invoices.
• Coordinate weekly AP check runs and maintain vendor records.
• Process credit applications, expense reports, and manage vendor data.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and year-end file rotations.
