Change Manager

The Organizational Change Manager will focus on establishing the infrastructure readiness of healthcare facilities for implementation of the EHR solution within a structured process framework, including changes to technology service delivery processes, systems, and technologies. They will determine and evaluate the change's impacts and organizational readiness to limit potential risk and conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for strategizing and executing organizational transformations in communication infrastructure.
  • Will create and deliver strategies and plans to help employees maximize the adoption of new technology service delivery framework and EHR.
  • Oversees the planning and execution of communication channels setup.
  • Manages and supervises the local communication networks and associated tools (e.g., bridges, routers, etc.).
  • Develops both short and long-term strategies to align communication systems with organizational needs.
  • Spearheads the design and integration of communication networks, ensuring seamless connectivity through various technologies.
  • Analyzes hardware and software solutions to evaluate their compatibility and performance within the current organizational framework.
  • Prepares comprehensive assessments and vendor equipment evaluations.
  • Generates network monitoring/performance reports for LAN/WAN utilization studies, providing insights into system efficiency.
  • Recommends enhancements and modifications to optimize system reliability and efficiency.

  • The Organizational Change Manager, Network Infrastructure maintains a broad understanding of project activities assigned to them and processes to apply a structured organizational change management (OCM) or technology service delivery approach and methodology for the impact to personnel.
  • Deliver recommended actions to improve and optimize technology service delivery using industry best practices and proven technology service delivery framework.
  • Conduct survey assessment to identify potential risk.
  • Develop a tailored strategy, training, and project plan.
  • Facilitate focus groups to discuss bottlenecks hindering infrastructure and or information technology service delivery process improvements and establish a mitigation plan.
  • Analyze client LANs/WANs, isolate source of problems, and recommend reconfiguration and implementation of new network hardware to increase performance.
  • Provide transitional support by focusing on change stabilization and optimizing results to ensure long-term success.
  • Utilize interactive dashboards and reports to visualize and trend technology metrics.
  • Identify potential personnel risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
  • Understand the client's organization and change management issues, explain the factors involved, and shape organizational solutions to deliver value to the client.
  • Conduct organizational change readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change sponsors.
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track and report on the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual technology changes.
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actions regarding network technology delivery services.
  • Help re-align the organization, its people, and their actions with critical businesses.
  • Facilitate project meetings, assign and manage tasks for change activities.
Education:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Organizational Change Management, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
General Experience:

  • Twelve (12) years of experience in a computer-related field.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large scale projects leveraging traditional project management and agile adaptability, ensuring iterative progress, flexibility, client collaboration, and timely milestones.
  • A proven Change Leader who has results-driven experience in leading large, complex, transformative programs.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, able to synthesize information and tailor communication style and content for a variety of audiences.
Specialized Experience:

  • Progressive experience in planning, designing, implementation, and analyzing data of telecommunications networks to facilitate organizational change.
  • Must have experience with network analysis/management tools and techniques and be familiar with Personal Computers (PCs) in a client/server environment.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, FDDI and high speed WANs, routers, bridges, and switches.
  • Expertise in healthcare technology load balancing efforts to achieve optimum device utilization and network performance in an environment that contains mission critical complexities.
