Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Clinical Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately enter paper records into our electronic system. This position requires some clinical knowledge to ensure the correct interpretation and entry of medical data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter data from paper records into the electronic system.
• Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness.
• Interpret clinical information to ensure correct clinical data entry.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify any ambiguities in the records.
• Perform regular data quality checks and corrections as needed.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in clinical data entry or similar role.
• Basic understanding of clinical terminology and medical records.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, PDF platforms, and Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
