Chesley Brown International is seeking qualified candidates for a Director of Security role downtown Nashville.

The position of Director of Security (DOS) reports to a Chesley Brown International Regional Managing Director and provides administrative and operational assistance in managing the security functions and the security staff of the client location. The DOS ensures the safety and security of the client location on a 24-hour a day, seven days a week basis; establishes, maintains, and ensures compliance with the location’s security and emergency plans; and manages the security budget. The DOS, at the direction of the Regional Managing Director, makes decisions regarding operational issues, personnel actions and functioning of the security department.

Director of Security Requirements are:

  • High school diploma required. A GED will not be acceptable.
  • A four year degree from an accredited university, or college or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential elements of the position.
  • Previous security in a supervisory capacity or law enforcement experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • No criminal record and is able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Dedicated team player with a friendly attitude and a willingness to learn.
