This dynamic role is perfect for someone eager to dive deep into the world of government contracting and make a significant impact across critical business functions.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, gaining comprehensive experience in key areas in multiple areas of the entire business:
Human Resources & Recruitment
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for our government contracts.
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain HR policies, employee records, and compliance with employment regulations.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Finance
- Assist our consultant in budget planning, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with accountant to ensure compliance with government regulations and audits.
Operations
- Streamline office operations and optimize internal workflows.
- Support our Contracts Manager with contract management activities, including non-disclosure agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TAs), compliance and deliverable tracking.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure smooth execution of government contracts.
Leadership & Special Projects
- Serve as a key advisor and right-hand person to the President and CEO.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Lead special projects, including implementing new systems, tools, or processes to improve company efficiency.
Administrative Projects:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for senior leadership.
- Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external use.
- Oversee office management tasks, including supply procurement and vendor coordination.
- Maintain company records, including contracts, compliance documents, and organizational policies.
- Support proposal writing activities as needed.

Maintaining professional discretion and safeguarding all proprietary and confidential matters is essential to ensure trust and integrity within the organization.

Requirements:
Job Requirements: Entry-Level Strategic Projects Manager Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Human Resources , Finance , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior internship or work experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus but not required.
- Interest in government contracting or small business operations is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies: - Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt to shifting priorities with a positive attitude.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and keep processes on track.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to interact with leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to handling critical tasks and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with a knack for identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; experience with tools like Paylocity , Unanet, QuickBooks , or project management tools is a plus.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and professionalism.
