Field Operator I Location: Indianapolis, IN Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM We are seeking a Process Operator for our water regeneration plant in Indianapolis, IN. This role requires an individual who can learn and apply technical processes, work safely in a chemical and water environment, and demonstrate physical and mechanical ability. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and contribute to the efficient operation of the plant. Key Responsibilities: Technical Skills: Learn and operate the regeneration process for mobile trailers and steel tanks. Follow procedures for opening/closing valves to control water and chemical flow through pipelines and hoses. Operate the membrane cleaning skid and handle equipment safely. Use process instrumentation and handheld devices to execute job duties. Troubleshoot and perform repairs on plant equipment, trailers, tanks, and piping systems. Physical Demands: Stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently during shifts. Pull, move, and connect hoses between equipment, trailers, and tanks. Maintenance Duties: Perform 5S tasks, including housekeeping, painting, and maintenance as directed by supervision. Additional Duties: Perform paperwork duties using basic to intermediate computer skills. Desired Traits: Intangible Skills: Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as needed. Customer-focused, multi-tasking ability to meet production deadlines. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.). Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred: Experience in operating process equipment in a chemical environment. Forklift certification (not mandatory but highly desirable).
