We are hiring quality technicians that have experience in not only our core business, but also our new line of portable power along with our turf equipment, compact tractors, and concrete finishing products.

Bobcat of Houston - Baytown: This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on our complete lines of products in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems for our core product and executing effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
• Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on portable power units (Air Compressors, Generators, and Light Towers)
• Participate in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on commercial and industrial generators/compressors
• Preferred knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems such as compressors, generators and light towers and diesel engines
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
• Experience working on portable power equipment
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
