Location: Downtown Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: On-site 2–3 days per week)
Compensation: $60/hour

About the Role:
Our esteemed client is seeking a Hardware Site Reliability Engineer (HW-SRE) to join their innovative team in downtown Atlanta. This critical role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of hardware infrastructure to support their cutting-edge operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to thrive in high-stakes environments.

This position requires an immediate start, with candidates expected to begin within the next couple of weeks.

Core Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Optimization: Ensure the reliability and performance of hardware systems, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring systems to track hardware health and performance metrics.
• Incident Management: Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve hardware incidents, conducting root cause analyses and implementing long-term solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and IT operations, to integrate hardware solutions seamlessly with overall infrastructure.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for hardware configurations, maintenance schedules, and incident response protocols.
• Scalability Planning: Assist in planning and implementing hardware upgrades to support the organization’s growth and evolving needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in hardware reliability engineering, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in hardware diagnostics, maintenance, and monitoring tools. Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex hardware issues efficiently.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Availability: Must be able to start within the next two weeks and commit to a hybrid schedule (2–3 days on-site per week in Atlanta, GA).
