Job Title : Lab Technician Specialist I
Location : Princeton, NJ
Hours/Schedule : Morning shift, some flexibility in start time. Fully Onsite 
Type: contract
 
Overview
Leading consumer goods company looking for an experienced Lab Technician. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors degree in science, preferably food science. Additional skills should include at least 6 months of Co-Op or Internship experience  from consumer goods or flavor/fragrance companies. 
 
Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in the preparation of beverages and conduct basic laboratory tests
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experiments, results, and observations.
• Support technologists with data collection and processing for ongoing projects.
• Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and disposal of flavors and food samples.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of lab supplies
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment and workspaces.

 
Requirements

• Lab experience
• Bachelor's in food science or science -preferred
