Job Description:

Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Five 8 hour day or four 10 hour days.
Work Scope:
A. Perform general maintenance throughout the facility including drywall repairs, tile work, and painting.
B. Work with Facility Safety Coordinator to complete various safety work orders throughout the facility.
C. Cleaning and maintenance inside boilers and hoppers. (Confined space)
D. Material handling of plant material and equipment including staging, pipes, air hoses, etc.
E. Maintain inventory and condition of assigned tools and materials.
F. Operating transport equipment (Bobcat, forklift, man lift)
G. Coordinate with facility receiving department to obtain required materials, parts, and supplies to accomplish assigned jobs.
General Plant Requirements
1. All contractors must receive site safety orientation training before commencing work.
2. Contractors must be able to stand for long periods of time
3. Contractors must be able to use job tools as provided (shovels, racks, hoes, wheelbarrows, cutting tools, grinders and vacuum systems)
4. Contractors will supply the necessary PPE to perform the task and the PPE must be worn.
5. Contractors must be physically able to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
6. Contractor lead man to attend morning planning meetings.
7. Contractors will have their own labeled lock out locks.
8. Contractor may be need to access roof tops and confined spaces as well as hot/dusty environments
9. Contractor must be trained in the hazards in working around conveyors, heavy equipment, and in a hot and dusty environment
