Job Summary:

IBA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Record Reviewer to join our team. This remote position involves handling a high volume of medical records to determine pre-existing conditions or diagnoses, aiding in the timely processing of healthcare claims. The role is production-based with flexible working hours. A minimum production goal must be met, and candidates must provide their own equipment, including a PC/laptop, internet connection, and a private workspace. Candidates must be registered nurses, with a bachelor's degree preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to identify pre-existing conditions or diagnoses.

· Ensure accurate and timely assessment of records to support the healthcare claims process.

· Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of reviewed records.

· Manage a high volume of reviews efficiently to meet production goals (Minimum 4 Files Per Hour).

· Utilize company systems and software for record management and reporting.

· Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolution of any issues.

 

Qualifications:

· Minimum Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required; Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.

· Proven experience in medical record review or a similar role/background.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

· Ability to meet and exceed production goals in a high-volume environment.

· Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.

· Must have own equipment: PC/laptop, reliable internet connection, and a private workspace.

This is 1099 per-diem (per-file) work. Please contact us for contract rates for LPN and RN.
