JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes toc support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Hours for the position are 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

 

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time:

  • Perform all assigned work to support manufacturing process.

  • Troubleshoot and make repairs to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

  • Understand PLC controllers and operate industrial computers.

  • Read and understand prints and operating systems instructions.

  • Service HVAC and chiller systems as well as other facility related equipment

  • Advanced relay and ladder logic control circuits.

  • Ability to work on 24 volts to 480 3 phase.

  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and assigned.

  • Other maintenance related support tasks as assigned.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of skills required for Maintenance Tech I, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience;
• 2+ years manufacturing maintenance experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC. Vacuum forming experience is preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, and climb in order to work on equipment. Must be able to use tools to perform repairs. Must be able to visually decipher colors.
