Job Description:
Job Title: RN-Med Surg
Location: New York City, NY
Schedule: 36 hrs/week
Shift: 3x12 Days (12 hrs)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $2000 - $2150 Weekly DOE
Overview:
We are looking for a responsible Nurse for providing care to adult patients with a wide variety of medical conditions or who are recovering from surgery. These nurses work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, or surgical centers, and they are often considered the backbone of hospital nursing care due to the diversity of patients they treat.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
Administering medications, IVs, and treatments.
Monitoring vital signs and patient conditions.
Collaborating with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Educating patients and families on their conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
Managing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Documenting patient care and maintaining medical records.
Qualifications:
At least two years' experience med surg unit.
State license of NY.
BLS certified.
Must have BSN
