Position Summary

As a Senior Staff Accountant at Wolter, you will engage in dynamic and varied accounting assignments, working closely with a team that’s as dedicated as you are to financial excellence. What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Perform and analyze reconciliations for operations and inventory.
  • Maintain our business floor plan system, coordinating audits and renewals.
  • Ensure accuracy in the general ledger with detailed month-end entries.
  • Oversee company credit card purchases and ensure tax compliance.
  • Handle real estate tax payments and equipment costing analysis.
  • Lead the Annual Physical Inventory Audit and Reconciliation.
  • Maintain notes payable schedules and run month-end reports.
  • Tackle various accounting projects, keeping us on the path to growth and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s or Associate’s) with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • A passion for accuracy and a dedication to Wolter’s vision and mission.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with lean business principles.
  • Understanding of our various departments and processes.
