Job Description
Job Summary The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care as required by the Medical Center's patients. The
Clinical pharmacist performs clinical and educational functions required in drug monitoring, with
emphasis on appropriateness, safety and cost-effective drug therapy. The Clinical pharmacist is actively
involved in quality improvement activities of medication use throughout the medical center as assigned.
This position also functions as a staff pharmacist up to 50% of the time as assigned. He or she applies

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $89.98 - $99.50 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications - PharmD Degree
- 1 year's experience with demonstrated competency in area of specialty
- PHARM:CA
Preferred Qualifications - Pharm.D. Degree Completion of an ASHP- accredited residency and/or fellowship
- 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field
- Board Certified
