POSITION SUMMARY As part of the Human Resources Team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for promoting the Agency as an employer of choice in an energetic and positive way to successfully source, screen, and recruit talent for the Agency; they will also participate in the pre-onboarding and on-boarding of new employees.

- Successfully source and recruit healthcare professionals through extensive use of social media, referrals, phone and internet/email prospecting and networking.
- Continually create, build, and maintain relationships with potential candidates creating a pipeline for future open positions; maintain a bank of qualified, well-vetted candidates.
- Take the initiative to create or discover (and then recommend and take action on) innovative ways to recruit and retain staff.
- Work closely with hiring managers to ascertain staffing needs and understand job requirements.
- Effectively communicate with HR Manager and hiring managers regarding qualified candidates who meet the needs of the Agency and the status of the on-going recruitment process.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and attitude with hiring managers, HR team members, and candidates at all times.
- Following established processes, review resumes, screen candidates against minimum qualifications, review application information, scrutinize the SkillSurvey responses to ascertain qualifications and cultural fit for the Agency.
- Conduct the initial pre-employment screening for new employees. Initiate, monitor, and collect required electronic signatures, conduct BGC, drug screen, pre-employment assessments, licensure verification, etc.
- Facilitate job offer process in conjunction with hiring manager.
- Conduct and/or serve as backup for new hire on-boarding (including set-up of technology).
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: - Some College required; degree preferred
- Degree in Human Resources or closely related field strongly preferred
Experience: - Proven track record of innovative, aggressive and successful recruiting tactics
- 2+ years experience in full cycle recruiting role
- Some experience working in an HR department required
- 2+ years of experience using an applicant tracking system required
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now strongly prefer
Computer Skills: - Proficient to excellent skills using a computer; experience working with HRIS required
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required
- Intermediate to Advanced expertise with Excel required

- Thorough knowledge of employment law as it applies to interviewing and hiring
