What You'll Do

As an Aerospace Engineer at EPS, you'll:

• Collaborate with leadership and team members to solve complex challenges in energy storage systems.
• Represent EPS in technical discussions with program personnel, customers, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage schedules and budgets while meeting critical deadlines for innovative projects.
• Apply your systems engineering expertise to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance in all designs.
• Contribute to the future of mobility by participating in proposal efforts and mentoring junior engineers.

What You Bring to the Team

We're seeking candidates with the following expertise and qualities:

• Strong background in aerospace electrical systems.
• Proficiency in AS9100 aerospace quality systems and the Systems Engineering Management Process (SEMP).
• Experience in requirements capture, analysis, validation, and verification.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards like DO-160, DO-254, DO-178, and more.
• Expertise in systems analysis tools like FHA, SSA, FTA, FMECA, and ELA.
• Knowledge of common aircraft power and communication architectures (CAN, Ethernet, A429).
• Skill in interpreting and creating technical documentation, schematics, and drawings.
• Experience with lithium battery systems, electric motors, and electric vehicle technology.
• Familiarity with standards like DO-311 and aircraft certification projects (TSO, STC).
• Proficiency in tools like the JAMA Requirements Database.
