Job Description:
Generally, the experienced Logistics/Supply Chain Analyst serves as the Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Visualization Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Database Administrator (DBA) on matters related to Marine Corps Logistics data sources, policy, and BI product development in database management and data visualization solutions. They will implement and maintain one or more complex databases implementing procedures to control access and allocation of data and maintain security controls. This person will apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments. Interface with internal and external stakeholders and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts. They will coordinate projects vertically and horizontally within a Major Subordinate Command Marine Corps staff. They will support the development and maintenance of scalable data stores that supply large amounts of data in forms needed for business analysis that leads to key leader decision making. This person will assist in the design of BI dashboards and reports for logistics and fiscal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data analytics tools that are aligned and/or synchronized with Marine Corps Readiness optimization and Intermediate Supply and Maintenance production oversight in accordance with Marine Corps priorities. As required, they will provide training to the personnel on developed products and utilization of reports and tools.

• Four Year degree substitutable with an additional four years of experience in lieu of a degree
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: None Mandatory: N/A
Preferred: Microsoft SQL Server database Certifications, Security+ Plus
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Mandatory: Eight years of full-time experience (including internships) providing logistics and supply chain management-related services and the following additional experience:
Preferred:
• Familiarity with DoD Logistics and Supply Chain operations with working knowledge of recent developments and policies of issues affecting Marine Corps Supply and Maintenance Activity that may impact Marine Corps Military Equipment Readiness a plus.
